Q: What does Lifetime Guarantee mean?
A: Advantage uses the best materials in the industry which allows us to guarantees all of our plaque products for life. This means that should your plaque fade or contain any defect, we will reﬁnish or replace the defective material at no cost to you, as long as the plaque is installed in its original location. Advantage does not cover your cost of removal, re-installation or any subsequent work done on the mounting surface.
Q: Is the mounting hardware included with stakes and posts?
Q: What art files are acceptable?
A: Advantage's systems are IBM compatible. The best ﬁles to send us are Casmate (.scv), Inspire (.sci), SignLab (.eps), Corel (.cdr), Gerber (.plt), Flexi (.fs) and Illustrator (.ai or .eps).
Please be sure to convert to “curves” or “paths” before sending.
Q: What is the standard plaque clear coat?
A: Semi-gloss, which is 15% matte. Matte and gloss are also available. There is no extra charge for any of our clear coats.
Q: Does Advantage offer “rush” orders for an extra charge?
A: No. Typically production for standard plaques takes eight working days after layout approval is signed. Customers can rush their shipping with expedited freight charges.
Q: Are there charges for creating layouts?
A: Advantage will create layouts per order at no charge to our customers.
Q: What is Advantage Sign's return policy?
A: Most products are custom-made for speciﬁc applications. However, as a service to our customers, we offer a credit up to
50% of the original net price for returns, up to $500. Freight is not included in the credit.
Q: What is the smallest letter that can be used?
A: Using Times New Roman, Bookman Old Style or Myriad, minimum height is 1/4” for letters in all uppercase,
3/8” for text that uses both uppercase and lowercase letters.

Choose the type of plaque, size, and specifications that you need and we will put together a quote for you. If you need help deciding or have questions, call or email us and our plaque experts will help you in selecting the plaque that is right for you. Once you approve the pricing we will move on to the plaque layout.
You provide us text, graphics, or photos and we will create an initial plaque proof. You can make changes or suggestions as needed and we will modify until it is to your liking. If needed we can help you select borders, background colors and textures, finishes and mounting methods When the plaque layout is correct, we will need your approval by email or signed proof copy.
PAYMENTAfter artwork is finalized, payment arrangements are made in order to begin the production process. For payment, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AmEx. You may also pay by check or set up an account and use a purchase order. Once your payment is received, we will begin production.
A final detailed production proof will be sent to you for your approval. Once approved production will be roughly 10 business days and then the plaque will be shipped to you!
